What Do The Wales Carers Alliance Do
In addition to our regular meetings, Wales Carers Alliance members attend a range of other networks and partnerships to represent unpaid carers and related issues. This includes the Ministerial Advisory Group on Carers and the Ministerial Advisory Forum on Ageing.
Where relevant, the Alliance makes representations to Welsh Government and other statutory bodies to highlight issues affecting unpaid carers and to lobby for changes as required.
We also work alongside other Alliances including Age Alliance Wales, Wales Neurological Alliance and the Wales Cancer Alliance where there are strong commonalities in our lobbying priorities.
